Eco coke cans

Why don’t all companies adopt this style of packaging? I know they have brand colours and guidelines but in terms of eco friendly packaging this is a great solution. This is not an actual coke can that has been created by Coke it is a proposal by a packaging designer to combat the dilemma of creating packaging that is also eco friendly as well as still holding brand values.

This is a personal post as I am involved with a charity based in Nigeria called CRARN. It’s not a scam or some rich Nigerian Prince wanting to save his millions in my bank account. I saw a documentary on Channel 4 sometime last year and having kids myself it really hit home. The children in the Akwa Ibom area of Nigeria are often abandoned, mutilated and killed due to their parents and villages believing that they are witches.

I urge anyone who see’s this post and who can do anything to help to do so right away. I couldn’t help them out financially but I did offer my services free of charge and re designed their website for them. I hope to re design their website in the near future as this was one of my first sites I ever built.
